In this blog we look at interesting things to do in Devon during Easter. Easter falls on Sunday 20th April and for many is a season of delicious treats and fun for all of the family.
Lydford Gorge
Visit the picturesque Lydford Gorge, home to the deepest river gorge in the South West and a 30 metre natural waterfall.
The Easter trail is within the orchard, which is full of different plants and animals. Follow the trail and explore nature. The trail is open from 26th March until 21st April and includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and a chocolate egg.

Babbacombe Model Village
Visit a unique attraction where all of its visitors seem giant like. Hidden amongst the model village and gardens are many colourful eggs. Can you manage to locate all of these eggs? Those small visitors that do will be rewarded with a small gift. The trail is open from 29th March until 21st April and is free with an admission ticket.

Seaton Tramway
Visit Seaton Tramway for an Egg-Tram-Aganza. Collect an activity sheet from Seaton or Colyford Stations and spend the day exploring in order to find Gilbert the Station Master's Goose and its cheeky chicks. A treat is available for those who have successfully found the goose and all of the chicks. This event is held 18th - 21st April.

Clovelly Village
Explore this charming village with its beautiful cobble street which stretches down the the Quay. Upon entry to the village, each child will receive a special map of the village where they can search for Easter chicks hidden along the route. Find at least 10 chicks to claim a prize from the visitor centre. This event is held 18th - 21st April.

Theatre Royal Plymouth
In the lead up to Easter, The Adventures of The Little Red Hen is performing at the theatre. The little hen has lots of things to get done, but it would be a lot easier if the lazy farmyard animals lent a hand! An adaption of this much-loved story, featuring a combination of brilliant puppetry, live music and unforgettable comedy, which is suitable for all of the family. Performing 25th March - 19th April.
